Intex Aqua Ring Offers an Asus Zenfone Zoom-like Design with a MP Selfie Camera for Rs4, 999
Intex has launched a new smartphone under the Aqua series – Aqua Ring, with a priced of Rs4, 999 and is available on Amazon India in an exclusive manner. The design has an interesting feature of sandstone finish with a ring around the camera with a sparkly strip all around.
The Intex Aqua Ring Has a 5-inch HD display with a 1.3GHz Media Tek MT6580A quad-core processor combined with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphones has 8 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The company offers one-year warranty for the Intex Aqua Ring and another six-month warranty for boxed accessories, which is obtainable with the purchase of the smartphone. Additionally, the company has introduced an ‘Emergency Rescue Mode’ for the help of users in situations of mishap of any kind. Users are to press any volume key only exceeding three seconds to activate the mode, which would send a message along with your present location to the pre-registered emergency contact.
The smartphone ahs a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MPfront-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The device is powered by a 2,450mAh removable battery, which according to the company offers 20 hours of standby time. Regarding connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS, a MicroUSB port, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Light Sensor. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Intex Aqua Ring would face strong competition from Micromax Bolt Selfie priced at Rs. 5,499, and Reliance Digital LYF Flame 1 of Rs.4, 999. The Bolt Selfie supports LTE whereas the LYF Flame 1 has LTE and VOLTE, which is not there in the Intex Aqua Ring.
