A new Toilet-themed cafe is inaugurated in Moscow
A rather uncommon cafe has opened its doors in Moscow, where visitors can dine among furniture and crockery dedicated to all things lavatorial.
With lavatory and urinal shaped bowls and toilet seats as chairs, The Wild Toilet Cafe delivers just what it promises. The cafe, which opened on Friday, serves various toilet-inspired dishes in toilet-themed crockery.
Dishes on the menu are somewhat suspicious, including a brown and creamy mushroom soup served in a toilet bowl, and a swirled sausage served with lots of mashed potatos. There is no escaping the toilet topic. The cocktails, green tea and lattes are served in miniature urinals.
“It is not everywhere it is possible to eat great food from a toilet bowl and beverage from a urinal at affordable costs,” said the cafe’s general manager Inga Yaroslavskaya. The cafe is the brainchild of Alexander Donskoi, the previous mayor of the northern Russian city of Arkhangelsk. In 2011 he started the G spot sex museum in Moscow.
