Zomato Started Advertising On Porn Sites

Besides marketing Foodporn, Zomato shares some useful data behind the motives to advertise on porn sites.

Zomato describes:

The aim was clear – get folks to click. Our strategy for this was pretty clear-cut, also – create something that’ll take people’s eyes off the video, they will click the banner ad because they are (obviously) getting hungry now, and then they will purchase online on Zomato.

Individuals in Delhi NCR clicked on these banner ads the most on backgrounds, at a typical click-through rate (CTR) of 0.12% while Bangalore came a close second with an average CTR of 0.11%. The effort typical CTR so far is at 0.22%.

At a more granular level, the greatest amount of clicks in Delhi came from around the Hauz Khas place. We can not say for sure why that occurred, but IIT Delhi is in the region.

In Bangalore, Koramangala was hands down the naughtiest section of town, while in Mumbai, Powai gets down and dirty the most.
