There’s definitely shaving, and there are shaving brands which have designed shavers specifically for girls as if you. The specialists at Gillette Venus tell you the various dos and don’ts of shaving.

Do extend and shave
The underarm skin and behind your knees is supple and flexible to permit motion at these jointed regions, which may allow it to be more difficult to shave as your skin moves using the shaver. To keep these regions as tight as you possibly can to get a cleaner shave, extend your arm upward and reach your hand behind your shoulder, and pull your leg straight.

Do not soak in the bath for too long before shaving
The skin will over-hydrate and swell somewhat as it starts to consume water. This may undermine the smoothness of the shave. The optimum time to get a pre-shave soak is about 1 or 2 minutes.

Do not use too much pressure on your shaver
A precision-made female shaver like Gillette Venus was made to glide with minimal exertion on the skin’s surface. Compelling the shaver can find yourself leaving you with nicks.

Do not worry about guidance
Modern shavers are really so powerful you could shave in almost any way that feels comfortable for you. But the hairs in your underarm region grow in arbitrary directions thus for a clean shaven feeling, you should work in various directions at the same time. Thighs, Angles and Some parts of knees are best dealt with as you enter the stream of a shave and are most in charge of the shaver.

Do keep your shaver right
Keep your shaver in a erect posture and someplace dry. Don’t leave it to the bathroom side in pools of water as it is a breeding ground for bacteria.

Do not rub your shaver while attempting to clean it
You could easily tilt the blade and damage the fine coatings by friction – these blades are very fine and you need that coating (the ones by Gillette Venus have aloe and vitamin E). You might nick yourself in case you try and rub your finger against it. An easy rinsing should get the job done.
