Shampoo ingredient can raise the risk of getting breast cancer!

The estrogen-mimicking compounds called parabens even have consequences for other disorders which can be affected by Estrogens, the study noted.

These compounds are thought estrogenic since the exact same estrogen receptor is activated by them as the natural hormone estradiol.

Studies have linked exposure to relevant and estradiolestrogens with a higher danger of reproductive issues, along with breast cancer.

Consequently, using parabens in consumer products has turned into a public health concern.

“Although parabens are proven to mimic the development effects of estrogens on breast cancer cells, some consider their effect too poor to cause damage,” said lead researcher Dale Leitman, a gynecologist and molecular biologist at University California, Berkeley in the United States.

“But this may not be accurate when parabens are coupled with other agents that control cell development,” Leitman noted.
