CSIR which stands for ‘Council of Scientific and Industrial Research laboratory’ in Lucknow is set to release an anti-diabetes herbal drug, christened BGR 34, on Sunday, based on a Times of India report.
This new drug costs around 500 rupees and, is likely to be accessible inside a fortnight, said the advertising head of Aimil Pharmaceuticals in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, VS Kapoor. Specialists that have developed the drug state that it also works as an antioxidant, and powers the resistance system. The product of a cooperation between two CSIR laboratories, BGR 34 additionally helps the maintenance of blood glucose levels.
Based on Dr AKS Rawat who is the senior principal scientist at NBRI which is one of the laboratories, the drug features the infusions from four Ayurvedic plants. It found successful and has been tested on animals with clinical trials demonstrating 67 per cent achievement.
