It is the Transit Elevated Bus or TEB, alternative called “Land Airbus” and is is a huge elevated transit vehicle, which runs on massive rails on each side of the motorway.

The bus uses the existing road network as it is elevated and without the need to impede traffic every time it accepts passengers. The TEB initially started life as nothing but a conception – a solution for China’s growing congestion crisis.

With the width over 25 feet and length of 75 feet, the TEB has around 7 feet of ground clearance , which is enough for most vehicles , but possibly not adequate for vans and trucks.

In this Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 photo released by Xinhua News Agency, people stand on a platform as the Transit Elevated Bus TEB-1 conducting a test run after it unveiled in Qinhuangdao, north China's Hebei Province. The 72-feet long and 25-feet wide Transit Elevated Bus (TEB) powered by electricity can carry more than hundreds passengers, is designed to go over the normal traffic to help ease traffic congestion without having to dig new tunnels or build elevated rail tracks. The bus has an all-electric system and carries nearly 300 passengers with 40mph. It creates an impact on car drivers. It might appear like a normal tunnel from under, but you should remember that the tunnel is moving and quite fast.
