Black Panther Series by Wakanda is ready to feature on Disney Plus directed by Ryan Coogler
Reported on Monday, “Black Panther” that is directed and Co-Written by Ryan Coogler, is a tv series that is based by movie’s fictional futuristic kingdom of Wakanda, Walt Disney Co that is made in Los Angeles.
As said in a statement by Disney it is created as a part of a five-year television deal with Production Company of Coogler’s Proximity Media and will be featured on Streaming Service given by Disney Plus.
Apparently, the release dates are not yet announced meanwhile Coogler has been working on movie sequel to 2018 blockbuster “Black Panther” that is reported to release in theatres on July 2022.
The first Marvel Studios film that is the “Original Black Panther” that consists of a black director and the black cast took $1.3 billion at the box office and best picture in nominations at Oscars.
The Late Chadwick Boseman was starred in the movie as a proud leader of Wakanda. Due to Boseman’s death in August 2020, the President of Marvel Studios- Kevin Feige announced that the role wouldn’t be recast.
To compete with streaming channels such as Netflix Inc. and others; In December, Disney said to release 10 new TV series that will be based from Marvel and Star War franchise.
