An Invisible Train Built by Japanese Architect to Hit Tracks In 2018

An invisible train is being built by one of Japan’s top quality architects in tune with her different presentations which suit well with the neighborhood. Kazuvo Sejima is famous for her buildings that combine well with the landscape. The work of the architect is translucent, fluid and interlinked with the environment, which has earned the architect the celebrated Pritzker Prize. Her original style is witnessed in northern France at Le Louvre Lens Museum.

Japan to launch ‘invisible’ trains 1

The Seibu Group, a holding company engaged in trains services and hotels in Japan has asked the architect and her company SANNA, the job of modification of existing trains for a complete novel look. Trains are expected to have a reflective surface making them disappear in the background of nature. Trains would run between Tokyo and other areas of Japan. As a part of the company’s centenary anniversary celebration plan, one or two editions of the train would hit tracks in 2018.

Kazuvo Sejima disclosed in a news release that she desired the train to coexist with the natural landscape and a large number of passengers could relax in a comfortable train journey and feel the ease of the living room and could look forward to ride the train over again in the future.
