Google Play Store Best of 2020: User’s Choice Award, Android Apps and Games

Few days have been left for this most historical year or said as World’s Pandemic Year; is going to be farewell now. Google Play Store announced its list of Best Apps and Games. The entry of surfeit of Indian apps has come in the list of Google 2020 Apps. The list is initially divided into three sections: User’s Choice Awards, Google Best Apps Award and Google Best Games Award, having own sub-categories of their own.

User’s Choice Awards 2020

There are two categories divided in these awards: Best user’s choice apps and games:

• The User’s Choice apps are Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel and more Office apps.
• The User’s Choice games is: World Cricket Championship 3- WCC3

Best Apps for 2020
The Best Apps category is divided into five sub-categories. That is Best Apps for Fun, Best App for Everyday Essentials, Best Apps for Good, Best Apps for Personal Growth, and Best Apps of the year 2020. In India, Google has declared Meditate with Wysa as the Best App of the year 2020.
Best Apps for Fun:

• Podcasts- Pratilipi FM, Moj- Made in India, Free Audio Stories, Podcasts
• Short Video App- MX TakaTak: Short Video App that is Made in India.
• Reface- Face swap videos and memes with photos and VITA

Best Apps for Everyday Essentials:

• Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and more.
• Koo- Connect to Indians in Indian languages.
• The Pattern, Zelish: Grocery Shopping, Meal Planning and recipes.
• Zoom Cloud Meeting.

Best Apps for Good: 

• Inner Hour Self-Care Therapy- Anxiety and Depression.

Best App for Personal Growth: 

• Writco: Publish and Write Poems, Stories and Quotes.
• GK App, Mindhouse: Modern Meditation.
• Apna: Job Search, Job Groups, Rozgaar.
• MyStore: Make Online Dukaan in 15 Seconds.
• Bolkar App: Indian Audio Question and Answers.

Best App of the year 2020:

• Good night Stories for Peaceful Sleep- Meditate with Wysa.

Best Games for the year 2020
The Best Games category is divided into five sub-categories: Best Innovative game, Best Indie game, Best Game of 2020, Best Casual game, and Best Competitive game. In India, Google has declared Legends of Runeterra as the Best Game of the year 2020. 

Best Innovative Game:

Minimal Dungeon RPG, Sandship: Crafting Factory, Ord., Fancade, and Genshin Impact.

Best Indie Game:

• Sky: Children of the Light, Maze Machina, and Cookies Must Die.
• Motorsport Manager, Racing, and Reventure.

Best Game of the year 2020: 

• Legends of Runeterra.

Best Casual Game: 

• Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells. 
• SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off and Tuscany Villa
• Asian Cooking Star: New Cooking and Restaurant Games, EverMerge.

Best Competitive Game: 

• Top War: Battle game
• Bullet Echo, Legends of Runeterra and KartRider Rush+, and Rumble Hockey.
